![]() ![]() PCs win hands down for gaming by virtue of the size of the customer base, not because it's a better OS. Serious question? As you probably know Macs can run Windows, but it takes some form of Windows to run a Windows game. Originally posted by Huntn No intention here of starting a platform war so keep that in mind. If a Mac wins hands done on the OS side and a PC wins hands down on the game/software side, what would happen if (just hypothetically now) lets say.that a Mac (like mine) was able to run its OS and every and all available software for a PC? Just one little itsy tinsy question though. (I currently own a MacBookPro and a Pentium 4 3.2 Ghz machine, plan on upgrading to a Vista/DX10 machine in the Spring.) If it is just MacOS vs WindowsOS- Mac wins hands down, no question, no doubt. ![]() In most ways Windows is a manageable mess (more technical problems and headaches), that most gamers (include me) are willing to put up with to get access to more games. PCs have lots of problems although they are presently a better gaming machine (but Vista makes me wonder about this assertion) because there are more games being made for the PC, not because Windows is a better OS. ![]() Macs and the MacOS are painless and a joy to work on.
